I am stating that a homeowner always has the option of selling their property without the help of anyone. In general, homeowners are savvy. Many who want to sell, have decided to go it alone. In hot real estate markets, it's easy to sell your home. You really do not need an agent since the property will sell quickly regardless. Frequently, I see signs advertising homes in the yards of homeowners. Even in not so hot markets. I am not speaking of the organization signs. These are homeowners simply choosing to go it alone. You will find a surprising number of deals this way. They know how to get quick sales, with some touting the fact you will save real estate agent commissions, by purchasing direct. They try to appeal directly to those of us buying houses. Most "pure" offerings from homeowners are not in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). By pure, I am referring to homeowners who have no assistance from any of the national organizations. You will need to drive around your areas of interest to find these potential gems.
